There's 600 points for joining the cup schemes with gold. I'm sure it will suit some people but I can imagine a lot won't.
Superbia is a strange one but it's not for most, and mightn't even be popular. It's just something the club are trying.

i think it's a decent enough system - for the extra £50 they're charging for platinum you get a season long subscription to the programme and monthly magazine - as I usually buy both anyway i'll actually make a saving.
The cup scheme is a great idea for someone like me who goes to every home game regardless - saves dicking about sorting your ticket, you just know that your card is activated. If I can't make a game I just give it to one of the lads at work. If you intend to go to every match you're foolish not signing up IMO regardless of how it worked with the Wembley tickets this year.
I think that superbia thing is alright if you currently go to every match home and away and abroad - bit of a bummer if you have to stump it all up in one go though!

You do know that those are electronic copies of the program and magazine? You can get them for £15 each a year.

i know they're electronic, but didn't realise you could currently get electronic versions. either way i'll be saving £3 per match, regardless of what the current price of an electronic programme is.

See, this is why I never give up on posters (other than that cunt mcfc21311234432432322390802309). They all have one great post in them.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

the truth is, that the sheikh has not just unloaded the bank without any hope of return. He is a business man and plans will have been set up for giving him some money back. I was surprised to see that season tickets hadn't gone up more, and with the platinum option to double your points for just £50 extra, i think most people will take it and thus cancel eachother out. i don't think you'll see much change in the kind of people who go to away games. football tickets go up and up each season for all clubs, and manchester city are no different.

I'm fine with the Gold and Platinum membership but think the Superbia scheme is bullshit and will soon be expanded to anyone that is willing to stump up the cash thus denying ordinary working class folks the opportunity to attend the big games.

If your willing to pay for anyhting and everything, you'll get final tickets in future.
I think i'm gonna have to start cultivating coporate contacts or start working for the club.

I made that point in the other thread, it'd certainly be nice to have some sort of rough idea before signing our bank account balances away

Is it Platini's fault? No. The FFP rules require you to balance your books, no more. This scheme is City's idea, Platini is innocent.
