Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I simply can't get my mind around the Neville incident today. How can that not be a penalty and straight red is beyond me, I'm sure had a City player done that he would have walked and we would have got a penalty against us, but the rags can do anything it seems...it's just bloody unfair, I know this makes me sound like a five years old throwing a tantrum but at 25 I've been following football for at least 15 years now, and I'm getting tired to see always the same teams benefit from refereeing mistakes (not talking only about England here, my rant is extended to Italian and European football too).

It is appalling. If you remember he should have walked at Stoke too. Then the Vidic incident in the cup final vs Villa. Where's that bitter that's been floating around? Care to defend any of these decisions?
However, there is sometimes small comeuppance. Rag fans singing "we're man united we'll do what we want" just prior to Brum's blatantly disallowable equaliser the other night. Priceless.

If you compare the Boyata sending off with the incident today. Deddy's challenge was a fraction of a second late because he was closer to the man, but at the ankle-ish area. Neville's challenge was halfway up his shin and he was a yard behind.
Similar positions...different outcomes.

Gotta be honest thoughm we have been enjoying a very small bit of what I call "champions luck" ourselves just recently.
3 pens and a HUGE goal line call in our last 2 home games suggest we might just be joining the club.
Tracking back is overrated.

Just saw it on MOTD. What a fucking joke of a decision. Penny and red.
Refs are scared shitless of giving anything against that red nosed alcoholic.

True bud but the fact is, they should of been playing with 10 men for most of the game..How Neville got away with that ill never know.

How the fuck do the Rag Twat's win these games? Clearly Neville has not got what it takes to be in the Prem yet everytime he does something wrong he gets away with it. Foy is rapidly becoming a disgrace to professional referee's and if he is not bent, then I'm not a City fan!

Just camp out on the fact that the rags got lucky against a team in the drop zone whilst we never looked like losing against a top 8 side.

Cunty Chops admitted it was a penalty after looking at the replay.

I remember Brian Clough once said that he had a perfect right to complain about major refereeing errors because it was quite possible for trophies to be won and lost because of them.
That might certainly be true of the Neville incident.

Put a blue and white striped West Brom shirt on him and he doesn't. It has been happening decade after decade.

Absolutely outrageous. The luck and cheating that this mob continue to get is unbelieveable.
All afraid of Taggart.
Mind you I reckon Mancini's little shot across the bows of refs earlier this week, earning him a letter from the league, was well-judged. Wouldn't be surprised if 5 years down the line we are getting these crazy biased decisions whilst Scum struggle against relegation to the Championship!

Glad to see it's not just me being appalled at the decision, sadly what Tokio said is true and it's at the heart of my rant, had Neville been the player of any other club he would have walked, maybe only if he were a Chelsea player he could have got away with it too, and it is this blatant inconsistency and favouritism in decisions that is ruining football.
