Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I really hope they get him. There is no way on this earth that he will be able to cope with the pace and physicality of Premier League football these days.

Me too.
He can get the ball to Crouch's head for sure but I think he'll be absolutely shocked at the pace of the Prem, having been missing for so long. He'll also get injured. Perfect place for Beckham though; made for each other.

Part of the same story I suppose, but wtf has happened to Bentley. Has he fucked arry's wife or something?
I would still consider having him here as a backup player if SWP goes

Beckham and Redknapp will be the next England management team.
This would just be away of easing them in to working together.

That sounds quite plausible to me.

I don't think he would be that bad. A good player to have on the bench.

I wouldn't underestimate such a deal.
Definitely the pace m8 not be that of his happy days, but I will never be happy when serious contenders enjoy injections of widely influential professionalism.
Pretty same issue as those who consider a waste of money (and space!) having Paddy V. at City, only because he has no longer the pace of his glory days.

5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City
You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...
In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

Wouldn't rubbish this too quickly.
Beckham clearly keeps himself in good shape and, I imagine, he'd only be coming on in games. His experience of winning titles might help the other players and he could help players like Lennon on their final ball. Lord knows he needs it.
