Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I dont see it the way of the OP at all. The most important players could end up being the ones that come in to do a job when NDJ is out or Silva is out, or Tevez is out, and do that job as good as those they are covering for.
I understand the sentiment of the OP but the really important games are going to be when we haven't got two of the key players available and someone has to fill their boots in a difficult and key game.
just sayin

Kompany, Kolo and Lescott are all massively important. I feel happy playing any two of those three, but if two get injured and/or suspended at once we might be in a bit of bother.

He plays The Meeja Clown rather too readily for my taste, and he's one of Fergie's ass-kissers, but I gotta admit I did laugh when I read this:
"I hope he is not smiling against us, but that doesn't mean he might not have got a hat-trick! I hope he doesn't score against us is what I should say."

I've got used to Silva, Tevez, Kompany and Nige performing to such a high standard. So I've taken the view that the most important is the one who joins them playing so well. To that end I think Balo could be the difference. If he got going consistantly, we'd be really cooking then.
Of thoe four mentioned, Silva dictating the attacking play is going to be vital.

Holloway will probably remember the key role Silva played at their ground so even if I don't believe he'll have somebody kick him, or 'double-team' him, he'll surely build his tactics around trying to limit his sphere of influence
(admittedly like 'how can you catch a moonbeam', but that won't stop him trying)
