Blackpool have the second best away record in the league (we have the best) with 5 wins and 2 draws from 11 games.
I really hope our lads don't underestimate them on Saturday.

I doubt it. We didn't deserve to win the last meeting and I'm sure that this will be fresh in the minds of our players. I also think that it will be fresh in the minds of the Blackpool players so they won't come and park the bus. They'll think they can take something.
I reckon we'll win it comfortably.

Blackpool don't do defensive park the bus play, providing we dont go into the game assuming we will walk all over them we ought to do well but we will need a solid display particularly at the back.

So long as we're not stupid at the back, Blackpool are the exact side, tailor made for City to beat.

Just need to make sure the defence turns up in the first 20.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

there not bad are they.
i think blackpool will have alot of tired legs out there. plus they will struggle with our tactics, because they dont know which players/system bobby will start with. like yesterday, bobby said it will be a special game for barry and millner and the both didnt start. :-)
who will start? will it be a 442, 451,4231 or a 433?? will be play thow the middle or out on the wings??? etc..
not the best way to prepare for a game if you dont know what ur up against.
they have big game against birmingham after us, imo they will be concentrating that more.

Agreed, should be a great game but if the Villa pperformance is anything to go by we should have no problems ... mind this is City we are talking about.

I don't think Holloway will be concerned with our system. They'll set up to play to their strengths and to be fair they've won enough points on their travels to be given respect and not be taken lightly. It depends which City turns up imo. If we do an "Everton" I can see us getting turned over. If we end up a couple of goals to the good early on, could be a cricket score.

We did an Everton because of the way Everton came to play. I doubt if blackpool will attempt that.
As Ted says, they are tailor made for us...as long as we don't fuck up.
I expect us to be able to take full advantage of the space they leave us and for us to "whup their arses...as long as we don't fuck up.

This will be our biggest win of the season, not because they are liccle blackpool but because of the way they play.

I am confident for this game. Our defence is playing well, NDJ is available, Tevez has been rested Hart is back to his best after looking cold and switched off in recent games and most of all Blackpool are unable to train regularly due to weather conditions

And that's one of the main reasons they did well at Sunderland, and the fact that Sunderland couldn't score in a brothel. Their current away form looks decent (LLDDWW) on the face of it but when you look at the teams they played weren't exactly against the best teams. Stoke was a good result for them and they battled hard for the 3 points, which is fully expected for a side who have been kept intact from the Championship.
I sure we will take them extremely seriously and try to cut-off their outlets down the flanks nad longball's over the top. This is where they looked dangerous during our last game.

Can't see anything but a 4 or 5-0 win, I know they have some good results this season, but so have we and we are a miles better team. This is the time the champions elect start showing the world just how good we are!!
