I saw this guy make his Celtic debut in Brisbane last year. Did he rip up any trees in Glasgow?
Attack the argument of the person, not the person of the argument- except Carl.

No, expensive flop who couldn't keep a place in the side ahead of gorgeous george. Piss poor.
Also, Mark, Ramires hasn't been added for Chelsea. I only mention this as I wanted to check the other day how much they had paid for him.

Swedish media now report that the Zlatan to AC deal is done.
AC will loan him for one season and are then obliged to buy him for 24 million euro. Zlatan's signed a four year at 8 million euros a year, compared to the 12 a year he's earning at Barca.
I really don't understand the loaning with obligation to buy solution ... what's up with that?

Gives them a year to come up with most of the money?
In all likelihood though it means that Galliani has 12 months to figure out a way to snake out of the deal.

Yeah, but the Swedish media doesn't report it as a loan with an
option to buy, but a loan with an
obligation to buy. Never heard of anything like that before.

It's a strange one. To be expected given the clubs involved though.
Liverpool confirmed the 11.7m signing of Raul Meireles on their OS btw. Looks like they've finally a decent replacement for Alonso.

Barca simply agree to begin to take their 19,7 ml £ in 2011. Ibra will keep something like 24 ml £ in the next 4 years. Barca payed to Inter 12 months ago 45 ml £ and Eto'o for the same striker, unbeliavable the debt they'll have on next future!
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

it's probably to do with the new regulations coming into force, the selling club want the money on their books next season rather than this.

Any chance we can get this back as a sticky since the transfer window is coming up again?
