amazed that arsenal lost Martinelli, Jesus, and Trossard - to then only bring in left winger Christos Tzolis from the belgin league. Especially when they only have Havertz & Gyokeres up top and biggest issue was creativity going forward and scoring from open play

So who are the mystery ins? Those figures don't tally with net spend in the press

Correct number (for permanent transfers) is 9 in, 8 out - rest of the numbers on Transfermarkt is always bloated by returning loanees/loan exits etc, most of who end up being double counted.

If there's a net spend there short of 200m quid, I'd say we're pretty nicely set now for the next few years. Even in the context of a net spend of 200m, we have 700m + of revenue - so even accounting for SCR that 200m is bang on the 30% we're 'allowed' to spend - which shows what a fucking sham SCR is.....but also surely shows we're not ruining football!

Our midfield and attacking options overall as a unit appears to be considerably stronger and more cohesive now than last season even, accounting for the loss of Bernardo and Rodri......and that was something I didn't think I'd be saying on 2nd September given the last couple of years.

We also have 60m to bank next summer already from Marmoush.

Its been typical understated approach from City as a club - I'm very impressed with the way they have gone about things and it would appear got every man they set out to.

I would have liked us to get the business done much earlier. Especially considering the world cup players were going to arrive late to the party.

Like I said, very nit -picky from me. I am pleased with the business we have done and even more pleased at the opposition fans fallout on social media. Love the fact that City have given us (the fan base) a great platform to respond to the imbeciles. Very good ammunition this net spend malarky.

Just need to see what Maresca does and how he gets the individuals working together. Haaland cannot play every game, we need a plan B and plan C. It's going to be interesting.

Also didn't help that every to club in England bar Arsenal have a new manager and wanted to get players in for them so the market was more competitive than normal. Which makes it business even more impressive imo
