So we play before Arsenal this weekend in the tea time slot. A chance to right the poor show at Everton the other night.

Brentford themselves are gunning for a European lace and could actually qualify for the CL in 6th place if Villa finish 5th and win the Europa Cup. Which is looking very possible as it goes. So Brentford are going to give us a good game. Which if they just sit back and defend will actually make for a good game and suit us

I see Dias is back in full training so maybe he will start? And maybe Foden will be given another opportunity after being buoyed by his new contract?

Not confident much but think we might just scrape through

2-1 Cherki Foden in a tense game

respect to Bernardo , named his dog after john stones. Probably because he has to keep Stonesey under control and on a leash.

My Dog is with me when i work. Not a problem - mind , i only work from home since Covid times.

Did his dog manage to score in training ?

Stones tried to tackle him, slipped, and twisted his ankle.

Not very optimistic about this one, oddly enough.
I think we are going to draw it and Arse are going to smash the hammers tomorrow.

Hope I am wrong.

I suspect Brentford will sit back and as usual we’ll struggle to break them down. An early goal to open the game up will suit us. We really need to be scoring 3 or 4. A hugely important game to put pressure on Arsenal. I just cannot see WH being good enough to win but football’s a funny old game.

Wonder if the walks are rotated? We don’t want the dog to do many “minutes” & burn out do we
