Back to proper football again after another shite International break.

3pm KO today so no TV broadcast on conventional media. Rodri definitely out and probably Khus as well. Might see Ait-Nouri and Marmoush on the bench. Other than that it's full strength.

Got a good record against Everton and I'm confident we'll get the result this afternoon. Moyes is horribly defensive in his approach so it will likely be one of those dull games we all love with the opposition putting 10 behind the ball and hoping for a fluke

2-0 Haaland Doku

Gonna be one of those frustrating games. 90% possession, Dias shooting ridiculously badly from outside the box, 1000 sideways passes.

Only consolation is they have a big black lump up front, replaced by another big black lump when he goes off. Both terrible IMHO. So quick breakaway goal may well be less likely than usual.

A boring 2 nil, also Doku and Haaland

Absolutely ineligible mate.

That's good for us, as he seems to be off the juice and found his mojo. For a bit.

My usual negative perspective...

Everton on the up and due a win.

Don't know why, nut I feel that the international break will affect our recent resurgence us more then them.

On paper it's ours.

In turf, its anyone's.

I know what he's thinking - packed defence, tricky player to jiggle through etc etc

Trouble is he's tried it time and again and it's not fuckin workin.

I guess the way to look at it is the alternative was Bernardo Silva!

Edit - I suppose there's Bobb. But he's not doing it for me either

Thing is, we don't know who's got a knock and who hasn't. Who's got what issues when they hook them up to those space age machines etc

Plus we're playing at Estadio de la Cerámica on Tuesday.

So it's best not to jump to hysterical selection conclusions, even though it's a major feature of our site :D

Right wing is a bit of a problem. Savio and Bobb have both not really been up to scratch so far this term.

Maybe when Cherki comes back we can move Foden out wide, but I also wouldn't want to upset the applecart when it comes to an inform Phil.

Possibly, Arse have a GD 2 better than us, we have scored more so any win by 2 goals or more will do.
