Someone said a while back that throwing Khus vs Chelsea after he just arrived was a fuck you to the board and I am starting to think that is the case.

The kid will not get the chances we are hoping he would. He is the fifth choice as a RB after Nunes, Lewis, Akanji and Stones.

But he is not a right back. He is a central defender that is where we should play him. I think going forward Khusanov and Josko will be our CB pairing. With Nouri at left back. Right back is another matter and I absolutely hate that were doing nothing about it. I think its crazy we made ZERO attempts to replace Walker who we knew was fucked two years ago. Nunes trys but he is not an instinctive natural defender who can see danger and deal with it in time, same for Lewis, they are squad midfielders and there is no defensive balance with square pegs in round holes.
Look at our rivals both domestic and in Europe they don't have squad midfielders in key defensive positions.

Intersting stat regarding the average height of our squad. We were shortest at 180cm , tallest squad average was 186cm

Data was from Jan 2025 But i doubt we have added much height since then. A squad of alleged ball players small in stature and easy to bully
