***Treble Winners v West Ham Official Match Thread***

Postby nottsblue » Sat May 18, 2024 10:56 pm

Final PL game fellow blues. And we are in the great position of knowing if we win we collect a record shattering 4th PL title on the spin and a 6th in 7 years. A lot has been said about us in the media recently and to be honest it’s getting very boring. 115 yadda yadda etc. A win today and it’s a little sweet revenge.

It’s also Moyes’ last game in charge at West Ham and hopefully in football in general. I can’t abide the cunt. Let’s send him packing with a thumping. Have a great feeling about the game and think we win comfortably.

Viking to go pillaging and Foden to ably assist

8-0

Going to be a nervous day until we start stroking around. We'll know within the first 10 minutes what we're in for. Just hoping for an easy day for once and Everton to play their socks off.
Have a good day blues. Speak later

Setting off about 11:30. Get to the ground, kids zone with the little un, meet my dad before he goes into the stadium, try Mary D’s and see where the day takes us!

I’m the same. Absolutely crapping it.

Like Salford, I’m usually smashed by kick off on these types of days so that settles the nerves. This time I’ve got our two year old with me so no way I’m drinking. It’s going to be a long day!

Are we going to have the last minute drama we've experienced in previous winning seasons? Could do without it this time. In hindsight it's brilliant but in real time it's hard going. I'd prefer an exhibition and 5-0 up at half time. Enjoy the day folks wherever you are. Come on City!

And if we could have an atmosphere like the Fulham away game a week or so ago that would be fine and dandy

4th in a row. If it happens will be ignored or played down by the scummy media.

Yes, the domestic treble is suitably wiped from memory by the Rag and Dippers media

Always remember Danny Murphy saying Klopp and the dippers were the manager/team of that year if they were to win the CL. The interview was before the season’s end.
It was pointed out City could win the domestic treble so surely that was a better achievement. No he said, that’s not as impressive or as important as the CL.

It was then pointed out a domestic treble had never been done before and he was surprised at this and he soon shut up

The achievements we’ve accomplished in such a short period are nothing short of phenomenal and unprecedented. Love to know how we are portrayed abroad. Like our pundits like Wio and the TNT brethren wax lyrical about Madrid. Wonder if that is reciprocated in other countries?
