We’ll never know but playing the two semi final matches might have been too much for us in the League.

Goal difference coming into play now. Correct decision.

Fuk that I needed him to get a hattrick in my dream team, played the park the bus for double points defenders

Would've been first defender in the Premier era to score one. It was a no lose decision
. Now he just looks an all round good guy. If he'd missed he would've looked and felt a right cunt and taken the gloss off the day

He wanted to take it and Bernardo said no - Alvarez is the penalty taker .

Disciplined correct decision.

Gvardiol has been immense - I’ve never felt so happy about being so wrong about this guy .

Talking of being wrong - Peter Parker, who has slagged off Foden since day dot , needs to apologise and repent for his death by hanging sin .

Fuckin ell Bernardo?!!!! The guy gets told what to do off his Mrs, did he grow a pair and think he can tell others what to do? I bet he’s buzzing they’re down in London for a few days now - won’t face any domestic violence for a bit.

Well it’s obviously easier without two high profile games. I will be more than happy well even overjoyed if we wi the PL & Cup, it would be a fantastic achievement. What a team we have.

Ederson proved he should be our penalty taker, if anyone is taking one. If he missed he could just start knocking people out so they can’t score.

Great result, missed the second half but will catch the highlights on MOTD.
Really happy for Gvardiol, his confidence is growing with every game. Sounds like Haaland didn't have a good game, was he sulking again? That lad isn't right this season
Akanji having a usual mixed game sounds like?

Good for our goal difference, Tottenham will be pushing hard for European position so Tuesday not an easy one , Lets hope Utd can muster something against Arsenal

Akanji was poor, verging on very poor- I'm revising my estimation. Erling was also poor - odd lack of energy and control.

Akanji was abysmal, Haaland pretty much the same. Nothing wrong with calling it out, both are capable of way better than that joint shit show. Thank the Gods for Rodri, that is one ridiculous footballer. Utterly ridiculous, as good as exists currently on our planet.

Me too, thought he looked appalling. He isn't, he's really good, and as soon as he stops giving shit passes in daft moments, he might be a top level player. Really changed my mind on him, so happy to be wrong.

I wrote it a few times. That video he did with Kovacic early in the season when they went to eat was fantastic. He said he needs at least 6 months to understand what Pepito wants from him.

To understand the fucking levels between him and other managers.

At least Haaland did some effective running and created space for the first goal.

Despite scoring two very good goals, Pep reminded him - in his after match interview, that he is here as a defender and that he gave the ball away a lot in the second half - that he is here to defend.
Gvardiol still has to improve in the job he is here for. I think he will.
It is great that he has scored some goals.
