The bloke in front (who I’ve never interacted with before or since) turned round & grabbed me by the shoulders and we just screamed at each other. Just had no idea how to react.

I love pausing the video with the slow mo shot behind the ball when it hits the net & you just see everyone behind the goal just staring open mouthed in disbelief

I was in Crete for a mates wedding for two weeks.
We were watching it in the hotel and 90% of the people we went with were rags and even they jumped up cheering it. I think our stream was 30 seconds behind and I got a text from a mate just before Kompany got the ball saying, “WOW Kompany!!” but I remember thinking ‘he can’t shoot from there surely?!’

One of my favourite memories as a kid. From crying at half time because I thought we weren’t going to do it. To going on the pitch after the game absolutely buzzing!!

A City fan sat behind us put a cig out on my back at half time when my mum and dad had gone to get me and my brother food. Felt a burn at the time but thought it was the sun coming through the stand on my back. Proper scummy and noncy thing to do to a kid! Didn’t ruin the day though!

I think that was one of the best shot's I've seen in my life. The technique, the power. I think you get one of those in your lifetime.
Loved also Ian missing later on and 100% doing it on purpose. I felt drained after the game.
