Bizarrely he and Rico Lewis (treble winner!!!) Were omitted from the squad for the Euros...

I reckon the reason why neither lewis or mcatee are in it is he stayed loyal to the lads that started the qualifying well over two years ago. Neither would have been on the radar then. When you look at the squad there are alot of older lads 22/23 mark, even gibbs white he is way too old to be playing in that. I reckon next squad will see mcatee/lewis and a whole new squad. I think thats fair enough from Carsleys point of view.
