And PS, I hope we will not try to sign that little shit Bellendgham.

He looks like a proper spoiled brat, did since our last encounter with Dortmund when he went on social media after that "penalty". His place is with the rags or scouse, he doesn't have the character to be here with us.

I thought he stood out last night in a game where they did not have the ball and also scored a great goal for them. I would take him tomorrow - box to box, good passer of the ball and scores goals at the top level. Only 19 we should be all in for him

Yeah, but his character stinks, mate. From a mile.
My spidey senses are all over the place with his fella. Pogba levels.

I'd love him playing for us. Best player on the pitch last night and I liked his interview. He was gutted but full of praise for us.

Absolute nonsense. Grealish is all over social media and has been largely unimpressive for us. The only concern i have with Bellingham is Pep would not play him through the middle. If he goes to a rival, we will regret not going in for him

You must have been the only person on planet earth who was surprised he was taken off .

He played the easy pass (Usually backwards to Cancelo) or he tried to waltz through their defense and ended up losing it and on fell on his arse....(its a copy and paste comment)

It is what it is and IMO he should NEVER start ahead of Foden or Bernardo or Alvarez.......a sub at best till further notice.

Agree with this. I do feel for him as we are asking him to play a different role out wide and so far, it has not worked for him. As has already been pointed out, he was a no.10 at villa but he is ot going to be that here. Last night was a carbon copy performance - play the ball back to Cancelo or attempt to dribble through a packed defence which only leads to us losing the ball. He needs to bring more than that else he can be expecting to sit and watch us from the bench or stands. Upto him to adapt

Gave Grealish a free pass last season. No excuses now he needs to up it or go, he has no end product.

PeterParker wrote:Missed the game, but saw earlier the highlights so I might be talking bollox, but our defense looks bad?

They make my heart skip a beat every time the ball is around our goal. Is it the constant rotation that Pep is doing to keep all of them happy? Sure, we looked the best when Walker - Dias - Stones - Zinny played non stop, with Laporte and Cancelo coming from time to time in 20/21

We look very vulnerable on the back and can't understand why.

I'm one who often has palpitations over our defence, but TBH, I didn't last night. I thought Ake was quietly efficient and I was particularly impressed with Akanji. Full backs don't really count as they don't do a lot of defending anyway, but attacking wise both were impressive.
And before everyone tells me how shite Cancelo was, his assist won us the game.

That's completely on pep.

The subs changed everything.

Bernie HAS to start. As does foden.

No idea what to say about haaland anymore. Probably because this has never happened before ?!

Yes they did by bringing energy and urgency to the team.
Question is why was there no energy and urgency before they were introduced?

That is indeed the question, and it's one which Pep needs to find the answer to sharpish.

See I agree Bellingham is a cunt, and has been every time we've played them.

He's also a good player.

We tend to avoid cunts though.

Cheapest time of the year to go to the Maldives isn’t it? Either way it’s not an issue when you’re from the posh part of Wigan and drive a 4x4 and visit lovely establishments for food a few times a week.
